PostSubject: Photo-realistic oil paintings   Fri 25 Jul 2008, 18:28

I've recently developed a process for creating photo-realistic oil paintings by patterning an acrylic gesso. After patterning the gesso I seal it will clear acrylic and overpaint the underalying pattern with a grey-scale underpainting. Using this method I can produce a Flemish style of painting with multiple layers of glazing colours in about two weeks.

Anyone interested in having a military portrait can either send me an old photograph or contact me to work together on-line to compose a new one.

PS: I'm also interested in obtaining suitable military action photographs for a registmental or battery painting in the style of Cuneo

Thanks ...

I'm going down to Poole next Friday to attend the ex-95 Cdo FOU Regroup. Thanks for all your efforts to keep everyone connected.

BTW, if anyone's interested, I've just finished a thumping good read - Dan Mills book: 'Sniper One' and I found a short clip on YOutube:

Cheers everyone,
